The Minnesota Wild picked up a much needed win on Saturday, avoiding a 5th consecutive loss, but the big win may have come with a few bumps and bruises for a number of their players.

On Sunday, 3 members of the Wild's roster were notably absent from practice with goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and defensemen Jake Middleton and Alex Goligoski all missing in action. The Wild made no effort to hide the fact that all 3 men are dealing with some bumps and bruises with Wild head coach John Hynes confirming that the 3 men took the day off due to body maintenance.

In the case of Fleury it comes as relatively little surprise to see him getting extra rest, given that Fleury has taken on a heavier workload than expected in lieu of Flip Gustavsson's injury.

The silver lining here for the Wild is that Hynes expects all 3 men to be ready to go when the Wild face off against the Dallas Stars on Monday, although things could of course change between now and puck drop.

Hynes also indicated that Marcus Foligno's status was up in the air for Monday's contest against the Stars, with a decision on his participation likely to come on the day of the game.
