Fleury goes downs after taking a shot to the head at practice.

Veteran National Hockey League goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has given his fans around the league and the fans of the Las Vegas Golden Knights a major scare today, but it may all have been part of a joke.

Fleury, who has a long history of concussions at this point in his NHL career, was facing shots at practice on Monday when a deflected puck went off of his helmet in a seemingly harmless play.

However as Fleury regained his feet he began to wobble and eventually fell to the ice flat on his stomach, immediately raising concerns that he had once again suffered another head injury.

To make matters worse the incident was all caught on camera however it is now being reported as merely a joke on the part of Fleury. To be perfectly honest after watching the video it's a really tough call to make.

Probably not the kind of jokes you should be making in front of the cameras, especially not when you are a goalie with a history of head injuries and especially not when you are currently in the process of recovering from one of those injuries.
