Oh how sweet it must be to Marc-Andre Fleury waking up this morning.

The beloved National Hockey League goaltender hit an incredible milestone on Saturday night when he joined one of his childhood idols on the National Hockey League's all-time wins list. Fleury, thanks in no small part to Minnesota Wild young guns Matt Boldy and Brock Faber, would pick up the 551st win of his NHL career against the Columbus Blue Jackets and tied legendary NHL goaltender Patrick Roy in the process.

Fleury, who is from Quebec, Canada, grew up idolizing the hyper-competitive Roy as a young goaltender and he commented on what it meant to him to join his idol  on the all-time wins list.

"One more would be good," said Fleury with a giant smile and a laugh. "It's a honor to be mentioned in the same sentence as him right? One of my idols growing up."

Fleury, as humble as ever, was quick to credit all of the help he has had over his career in reaching such a prestigious milestone.

"I've been very fortunate to play with many great teammates and many great teams throughout my career," said Fleury. "Staff that has helped me to stay healthy and mobile and flexible helped to make it all the way here."

Fleury appeared to get emotional towards the end of the interview, ending it with a simple but heartfelt statement.

"It's pretty cool," said an emotional Fleury.

Fleury did it in style as well, with perhaps his best save of the year coming in his milestone game.
