Florian Xhekaj reveals what Nicolas Deslauriers told him after their fight last night

Two seasons ago, Montreal Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj and Philadelphia Flyers forward Nicolas Deslauriers came to blows in a pretty spirited scrap.

And last night with Arber's brother Florian Xhekaj in the lineup for preseason action agains the Flyers, well... Deslauriers had to go for the full family combo. Deslauriers and Florian Xhekaj put on a show for the fans at the Bell Centre.

Again, it was a great scrap even if the younger Xhekaj was a bit outmatched by the experienced Deslauriers.

The pair continued their joust, albeit verbally, to the penalty box immediately afterward. They were seen throwing chirps back and forth and ffter the game Florian Xhekaj spoke to reporters and revealed what Deslauriers told him in the penalty box after their fight.

"He told me that after fighting with Arber, he had to fight the other brother!

He said a lot of things to me in the penalty box, but he congratulated me on doing well during our fight."
