Flyers add a new forward through free agency.

The Philadelphia Flyers have not made any major moves since free agency opened up, and considering that several teams have seemingly over-payed for players, it's probably for the best in the long run.
However the Flyers did announce one move, and while it's on a smaller scale than some of the major announcements today it's a quality depth signing for the organization.
According to TSN insider Bob McKenzie the Flyers have agreed to terms on a 4 year deal with forward Dale Weise, the average annual value of the deal is believed to be $2.35 million.
Weise was a workhorse for the Montreal Canadiens prior to being traded to Chicago late last season, and his ability to perform in clutch situations quickly made him a fan favorite among Habs fans. If he continues that style of play he will quickly become a fan favorite in Philly as well.
