Flyers fan throws his prosthetic leg at Gritty in celebration

The Philadelphia Flyers are back in the second round for the first time in more than half a decade and their fans are celebrating like only Flyers can.

Last night, with the Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins deadlocked in a scoreless game and with the Flyers on the verge of closing out the series one fan got a a little carried away and... ahem... chucked his prosthetic leg at Flyers mascot Gritty.

Excuse me?

Well, that's not where it ended.

Gritty seemed stunned for a moment, which may just be his natural disposition now that I think of it, but then he picked up the prosthetic leg and handed it back to the fan who proceeded to slam a beer out of it.

Excuse me, again?
