Is this the beginning of a slide for the Flyers?
This just in, the Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Tyson Foerster will be out of the lineup for 2-3 months with an undisclosed upper body injury.
The 23 year old forward is the Flyers' leading goal scorer with 10 goals in 21 games and has been a big part of the team's top line with Noah Cates and Travis Konecny this season.
The Flyers are currently 14-8-3 and are barely holding on to the final Wild Card playoff spot in the NHL's Eastern Conference. This is obviously a team that can't afford to lose their top goal scorer, so it'll be interesting to see how they adjust with Foerster out off the lineup.
