Daniel Briere has pulled it off again.
The Philadelphia Flyers GM has reportedly lured another player out of Russia.
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported this morning that Briere has managed to free up goaltender Alexei Kolosov from his KHL contract (at least for now) to attending the Flyers' training camp. Friedman reports that the plan is to get Kolosov into some pre-season games and maybe even some AHL games, but that if he doesn't stick with the Flyers then he can return to his contract in the KHL.

Interesting... I'm not sure I can recall a KHL/NHL transfer like this before?
In any case, Kolosov joins fellow Russian Ivan Fedotov and Swede Samuel Ersson and veteran Cal Petersen as the Flyers' options in goal this season.
