Barydon Coburn has made it clear to both the Flyers and now the media that he is dying to get back in the line up. In fact he's hoping to make his return to to the ice tomorrow night against the Avalanche, but he hasn't been cleared to play just quite yet. Many fans expected Coburn to come back last month on the 21st but he pulled himself out of the game after warm ups claiming he was suffering too much pain. Coburn spoke to CSN Philly had commented on his potential return Saturday night.
“I’d love to play, if I am in, I am in. I feel I am almost there, for sure.”
CSN Philly also asked Coburn what he felt the biggest difference was between the 21st when he pulled himself out of a game and now:
"Big difference, everything from putting full weight on, turning, skating on both feet,” he said with a laugh. “The extra bit of rest and extra treatments really helped a lot.”
Getting Coburn back would be a huge boost to the Flyers blue line, we will keep you posted if any official words comes out.
