The Flyers have been making a push for the post-season but this is an injury significant enough to put a stop to it.
The team announced some devastating news on Friday. revealing that forward Sean Couturier, arguably the teams most consistent two-way player, will miss the next month of action as a result of a lower-body injury.
General manager Ron Hextall, confirmed the news, and now the rumors that he would be looking to sell at the deadline despite his team's recent surge look like they will almost certainly come to fruition.
