The Philadelphia Flyers got some business done in the late hours of the night on Thursday.
According to a report from Sportsnet insider Chris Johnston the Flyers have signed physical forward Radko Gudas to a new four year deal. Gudas demonstrated in the second half of the season that he could be a real contributor to the Flyers' blue line and furthermore, despite drawing the ire of the National Hockey League by getting himself suspended, Gudas brings a level of intimidation some argued the Flyers were lacking.
Here's how Gudas' contract will break down according to Johston:
16-17: $2.5M salary, $1.5M signing bonus
17-18: $3.5M salary
18-19: $3.4M salary
19-20: $2.5M salary
