Flyers' Sam Morin ruled out for the season after brutal knee injury
Ouch. This kid just can’t catch a break.

Yet another terrible break for Philadelphia Flyers’ defenseman Sam Morin. The team has announced the former first round draft pick is out for the season after tearing his ACL in a game with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL last night. Check it out:
Morin, 23, had played in one game for the Flyers this season, as well as three for the Phantoms. Unfortunately, he can’t seem to catch a break as this is the 2nd time in his career he’s had to go through a torn ACL. He played very little in the NHL or AHL last season after suffering the exact same injury in May of 2018. On top of that, he played only 17 games in the previous season after several other injuries. It seems like the guy is injury plagued and simply can’t seem to shake it.
Once a highly touted prospect, one has to wonder whether he can continue to go on in his career after so many serious injuries and missing so many games. Here’s wishing him the best, and to hoping he can get his career back on track after spending several months on the sidelines once again.
