Former NHL forward Carl Soderberg has officially announced his retirement from professional hockey after two seasons with this hometown Malmo Redhawks of the SHL (Sweden).
The 37 year old played 597 NHL games split between the Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalance, Arizona Coyotes and Chicago Blackhawks. He's proably best known from his time with the Bruins and Avs, where he actually put up some productive seasons. He managed a career high 12 goals and 51 points in 82 games with the Avs in 2015-16.
