Former Head Coach of the Vancouver Canucks Willie Desjardins recently spoke to hockey reporter Igor Eronko and gave his two cents about the current state of the Canucks.

Desjardins told Eronko that the Sedin twins never had a true line mate that could play on the first line with them and that was a struggle all year long for the club.

Desjardins also commented on some of the Canucks prospects and believes that Nikolay Goldobin needs a lot of time to develop. He also states that Nikita Tryamkin who left the team for the KHL could have been something special for the team down the road.
