The Boston Bruins may have finally had enough of goaltender Malcolm Subban.

Since being selected in the first round of the 2012 National Hockey League Entry Draft, the 23-year-old goaltender has been a total bust for the Bruins, appearing in just two NHL games, both of the complete disasters.

His first game came in the 2014-2015 season, and that saw him put up a 5.81 goals against average and .500 save percentage, yes really, and the second game came in the 2016-2017 season and saw him put up a 5.88 goals against average and .813 save percentage, yes really.

Now Boston Bruins reporter Jimmy Murphy believes that the Bruins are playing Subban in the preseason in the hopes of facilitating a trade , although what they could get for him given his horrific NHL performances is a total mystery.

"Have to think Malcolm Subban is still on the Bruins roster for shopping for (in eyes of team) trade purposes," wrote Murphy.

It sounds like Subban may finally be traded, and it seems likely that Bruins fans will welcome the move regardless of what they get back for him.
