If he makes the team, this will be crazy!

His last NHL game came in 2014-15, but Brandon Kozun is fixing to make a comeback this season.

The 33 year old former Toronto Maple Leafs forward signed a professional tryout (PTO) contract with the Colorado Avalanche yesterday, in the hopes to complete his NHL comeback.

Kozun last played for the Leafs in the 2014-15 season, putting up two goals and four points in 20 games. Since then, Kozun has spent nearly a decade playing in the KHL, jumping around from team to team. Last season he put up 10 goals and 24 points in 41 games with Dynamo Minsk.

Kozun will be in tough to land a full-time NHL job with the Avs and is probably best suited to more of a call-up type role where he plays the majority of the season with the team's AHL affiliate Colorado Eagles.
