Former NHL player and head coach loses love of his life to cancer.

After a nearly two year long battle with cancer, Colette Germain the wife of former NHL player, head coach and current NHL broadcaster for RDS Mario Tremblay has passed away. Colette was without question the love of Mario's life, in a world were so many marriages end swiftly, theirs was a shining example of true love. The couple was wed in 1977 and Mario was by her side until the very end. There are no words that can possibly ease the pain the Tremblay and Germain families are experiencing at this moment but we offer our deepest and most sincere condolences and wish them nothing but good things in this unimaginably difficult time.
