Former NHLer Prust goes on rampage on Twitter!
Twitter

Tragic news struck over the weekend when at least 31 people were killed in US mass shootings.  A shooting at at a sprawling shopping complex in El Paso on Saturday left at least 22 people dead, while another took place in Dayton, Ohio, killing nine people. Several people were also injured in the tragedy.

Several celebrities took to social media to denounce violence in the States and criticize the gun laws of the country. As Bette Midler commented the sad shootings on her Twitter account, a follower argued with her about gun possession.

This prompted former NHL forward Brandon Prust to go on a rampage about gun laws and violence in the US, and you can tell he has a lot of time on his hands to go and comment on several posts from people who support the NRA and promote the second amendment.

Check it out:

I personally completely agree with Prust that stricter rules need to be looked at in the United States following the ridiculous amount of shootings taking place in the past several years.

However, if the former NHLer wants to make a real difference in the matter, he needs to be careful on how he goes about it. Maybe then, people would take him serious and he would make a difference in the world.
