Former NHLer “spiraling out of control” pleads guilty to weapons charges.
Some worrying signs from a former National Hockey League player.

There are some worrying signs involving former National Hockey League defenseman Ian White.
A report from the Winnipeg Sun has revealed that White pleaded guilty last week to three firearm offences and was sentenced to a three month conditional sentence as well as 12 months supervised probation as a result. White was also reportedly suffering from an opiate addiction at the time of his arrest although his lawyer says he has since completed a rehabilitation program.
There have been unsubstantiated reports of financial and marital problems for White in the past as well as an affidavit from Cpl. John Hurley, that described White as a man who was "spiraling out of control." It's become a bad trend for White and we certainly hope he can find his way back from all of this.

His attorney also added that he would like to make an NHL comeback, although that seems extremely unlikely given the circumstances.
