Former OHL legend murdered in Oshawa, Ont

On Sunday afternoon Oshawa Police announced the murder of Patrick Montgomery and wife Andrieana Montgomery in broad daylight. Police have arrested 30 year old Mark Gordon and have charged him with double homicide.

From Oshawa Police:

Both Patrick and Andrieana were 42 years old. Police have said that the accused murderer and his victims were known to each other and that there's no risk to the public at this time.

Being a former Oshawa Generals player, the Generals community is in mourning this week. Fans online are describing Patrick as a 'legend' in the team's social media channels and are mourning this senseless tragedy.
