Predators defenseman P.K. Subban made some headlines when he cracked a joke about Penguins captain Sidney Crosby. Subban was asked during a post-game interview what words he and Crosby has exchanged in the final moments of the game, and Subban responded by claiming that Crosby had said he had "bad breath."

While Crosby has denied ever making the remark, Subban continued to ride the momentum garnered by his original statement, and yesterday he showed up to the arena with a bag filled to the brim with mouthwash.

Following Crosby's denial, former Canadien Georges Laraque, who considers himself a friend of Subban’s, made the headline in Montreal by publicly calling out P.K. Subban's terrible breath.

"Crosby's right, it's true that he has terrible breath and he knows it" said Laraque on Montreal 91,9 Sports. "People around the leagues knows it and that is why he's trying to take really good care of his mouth. He knows he has a problems and everybody knows it around the league."
