The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced the signing of a four year extension with their former Vezina winning goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. Bobrovsky has been a huge part of what Columbus does on a night in and night out basis, posting a .924 save percentage with the team throughout his 123 games as a member of the Blue Jackets. According to Gino Reda of TSN, the four year deal is worth a reported $29.7 million dollars, meaning he would make $7.425 million annually, making him one of the highest paid players in the game. The Blue Jackets have struggled this season in large part due to injuries, but Bobrovski has been a huge part of the teams resurgence, posting a .917 save percentage in his 27 games with the club this season.
