This just in courtesy of hockey insider Frank Seravalli of TSN, the Springfield  Thunderbirds of the AHL have announced that they’ll be the affiliate of the St. Lous Blues starting next season, after serving formerly as the Florida Panthers’ affiliate.

In a corresponding move, the San Antonio Rampage, who were the Blues’ former affiliate, will move to Henderson, Nevada to become the Vegas Golden Knights’ affiliate.

That leaves the Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes as the two NHL teams without an AHL affiliate, but Seravalli reports that potential moves are in the works for these two franchise.
