This is not good news Leafs fans. Defenseman Cody Franson has been placed on injured reserve as of Tuesday afternoon. Franson was optimistic at his chances of playing in in the Leafs second game on Saturday, but after today's report that seems unlikely. Franson played in79 games last season for the Leafs, totalling 33 points. Let's hope he gets well soon Leafs fans.
