The third round in the West is a major battleground and many important players fell to the fight. Both the Ducks and the Predators have suffered important losses but none was felt more deeply by the Anaheim organization than Patrick Eaves. Hurt on May 9th in the lower body region, he's badly missed by the team, although the results haven't suffered that much since he left the lineup.
Anyhow, some fresh news came out today. We learned Eaves was skating this morning and his testing what we gather to be a leg injury.
Eaves is still not ready to rejoin the lineup, but putting the uniform on and skating for a few lap is a very good sign. He may return sooner than expected, but it's all up to the medical staff and Eaves himself at this point.
