The NHL held its annual Awards Ceremony tonight in Nashville, TN at Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators.

Ted Lindsay Award

Awarded annually to the National Hockey League's most outstanding player in the regular season as judged by the members of the NHL Players' Association

Nominees: Connor McDavid, David Pastrnak, Erik Karlsson.

Winner: Connor McDavid.


Lady Byng Trophy

Awarded each year to the National Hockey League "player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability".

Nominees: Brayden Point, Anze Kopitar, Jack Hughes

Winner: Anze Kopitar


Calder Trophy

Awarded annually "to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the National Hockey League."

Nominees: Stuart Skinner, Owen Power, Matty Beniers

Winner: Matty Beniers


Selke Trophy

Awarded annually to the National Hockey League forward who demonstrates the most skill in the defensive component of the game. The winner is selected by a poll of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association following the regular season.

Nominees: Mitch Marner, Nico Hischier, Patrice Bergeron

Winner: Patrice Bergeron


Masterton Trophy

Awarded annually to the National Hockey League player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to ice hockey. It is named after Bill Masterton, the only player in NHL history to die as a direct result of injuries suffered during a game.

Nominees: Clayton Keller, Kris Letang, Alex Stalock

Winner: Kris Letang


Vezina Trophy

Awarded annually to the National Hockey League's goaltender who is "adjudged to be the best at this position". At the end of each season, the thirty-two NHL general managers vote to determine the winner.

Nominees: Ilya Sorokin, Connor Hellebuyck, Linus Ullmark

King Clancy Award

Awarded to the player who best exemplifies leadership on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.

Jack Adams Award

Awarded annually to the National Hockey League coach "adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success."

Norris Trophy

Awarded annually to the National Hockey League's top "defense player who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position".

Hart Trophy

Awarded annual to the most valuable player in the National Hockey League, voted by the members of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.
