Defensive pairings shuffled again

According to Joe Haggerty, Charlie McAvoy will be paired with Kevan Miller to start with in Game 1.  Previously this week, it was hinted that McAvoywould  actually be paired with Chara.  However, Cassidy has continued to shuffle up his defense and Chara will be playing with Mcquaid instead.  McAvoy is playing his first ever NHL game meaning in round one of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.  With defensemen Krug and Carlo both out with injuries, it is up to the 19-year-old rookie to step in and make a name for himself. We wonder if Cassidy’s decision to pair him with Miller instead of Chara will pay off.

Krejci and Moore though they did not present for practice Tuesday, will play tonight.  Both of these forwards were out in their usual spots for the morning skate this morning.  Having Krejci and Moore in the line up will of course benefit the bruins.  Though Cassidy has shuffled the defensemen, the forward lines have remained the same with Krejci and Moore on their respective second and third lines.
