According to a report from Edmonton Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels, the team will be without forward Drake Caggiula tonight for their game against the New Jersey Devils. Look for Anton Slepyshev to draw into the lineup in his place.

Caggiula left the game on Tuesday evening after blocking a snapshot from New York Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock who has a BOMB of a shot. No word yet on the extent of his injury or a projected return date.

As for Slephyshev look for him to slot in alongside Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Milan Lucic on the team’s second line. The 23-year-old Russian has gone goalless in nine games so far this season, so maybe this is the opportunity he needs to finally bust his slump.
