Gay romance Heated Rivalry surpasses Breaking Bad as the highest rated TV show of all-time

Canadian streaming service Crave has a mega hit on their hands with romance series 'Heated Rivalry'.

The series stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie as two rival pro hockey players who are hiding a passionate, secret romance.

The show is based off a hit romance novel and has gained a ton of attention for introducing new fans to the sport of hockey. It has received critical acclaim, with praise for the directing, writing, and the lead actors' performances and chemistry. It also achieved strong audience viewership, becoming Crave's most-watched original series to date and HBO Max's top debut for an acquired, non-animated title since the platform's launch in 2019.

This past week's episode entitled 'I'll Believe in Anything' actually earned the honor of tying and then surpassing the Breaking Bad episode titled 'Ozymandias' as the highest rated TV episode ever on IMDB.

I just KNOW that this is going to ruffle some feathers of the old school hockey crowd. To me, that's hilarious. It's 2025, get over your weird feelings about gay people.

What's even more hilarious to me though is that I also KNOW there are going to be some pissed of Breaking Bad fans out there too.
