GM Chuck Fletcher humiliated by season ticket holders.

Wow.

The Philadelphia Flyers are currently in a sorry state and seemingly have been for several seasons now, and the cracks are really starting to show.

The Flyers, and most notably general manager Chuck Fletcher, have faced considerable backlash after what many fans deemed to be a lackluster performance at the trade deadline and Fletcher was forced to come face to face with that criticism today.

On Saturday, the Flyers hosted a season ticket holder town hall event in which members of the team's front office spoke with fans directly and the reception for Fletcher was downright humiliating. As Fletcher walked onto the stage to greet his own fans, he was treated to a loud chorus of boos in spite of the fact that attendance seemed relatively sparse. Not only were the boos loud, they were sustained for a few seconds as well.

What may have made the situation even worse was voice of the Flyers Steve Coates telling the crowd to "keep it classy" which likely did very little to calm the agitated fans in attendance.

Things are starting to crumble in Philadelphia and this reaction from the team's most diehard fans is certainly evidence of that.
