DETAILS INSIDE
Marc Bergevin is not a happy man today.
Montreal Canadiens forward Zack Kassian suffered a fractured nose and fractured left foot in a early morning car accident on Sunday, general manager Marc Bergevin announced Monday.
Bergevin said there's currently no timetable for Kassian's return to the lineup and there have been no decisions on whether the team will place him on injured reserve.
The Canadiens GM also voiced his extreme displeasure with the 24-year-old, but noted he didn't have all the details yet. This ccould put Kassian's furure with the club in doubt.
"I'm a firm believer in character and that's really a lack of character and judgement on his part," said Bergevin.
Kassian was a passenger in a pickup truck - driven by a 20-year-old female - that reportedly crashed into a tree in the residential Montreal neighborhood of Notre-Dame-de-Grace early Sunday.
