On Monday, the National Hockey League shared some interesting answers to fans as an update on the situation and ongoing situation due COVID-19 pandemic was released in the form of a “Q&A”.
This prompted general managers to gang up on commissioner Gary Bettman during a conference call on Tuesday. As NHL insider Pierre LeBrun reported, the NHL was looking to offer a general update and some ground covered from the previous meeting with the board of Governors, however, GMS had more to say.
The general managers had a lot of questions about the draft, combine, lottery, schedule/playoffs, free agency, but the league had few answers at this stage.
It is believed to be too early at this stage.
We have no clue when the league will make the important decisions that will undoubtedly impact the 2020-21 campaign. However for now, the answers given to fans in Monday’s Q&A concord with the ones GMs were offered on Tuesday.
