Goalie Mac Carruth suspended for mocking child fan during game!
This is absolutely ridiculous. Hope the ban teaches him a lesson. Get the full story below:
I mean there has to be something off with you if you are an adult man willing to make fun of a child. That’s what happened, with many other fans watching when Cardiff Devils goalie Mac Carruth in the ECHL mocked a child fan in attendance of a game against the Nottingham Panthers.
The kid, who was rooting for the Panthers, was humiliated as Carruth made fun of the gap between her teeth.
He was consequently suspended by the league.
Carruth was selected in the seventh round, 191st overall by the Chicago Blackhawks back in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He however never played in the NHL and has spent most of his career in the ECHL.
He is a 32-year-old man who decided it was a bright idea to mock a child. Now, I’m not sure a suspension is the way to go here, I think I’d prefer if he would have to apologize to the child and perhaps get some etiquette courses… but the ECHL is not messing around clearly!
