Goalie watches his teammate take a bad hit and drops the gloves!

The Columbus Blue Jackets learned the hard way, don't poke the bear!

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Zach Bogosian was the victim of a bad hit on Friday night, one that sent him to the ice in a heap, and while his team quickly came to his defense, it was Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner who semmed the most ready to go to war for his teammate.

Blue Jackets defenseman Jack Johnson apparently under estimated the fury of the big man because while he seemed happy to challenge Lehner at first, as soon as Lehner dropped the gloves Jackson turned tail and ran away.

The big man was clearly ready to take on all challengers.
