Goaltender Jonathan Bernier spits on the ice crew.

That's just disgusting.

One member of the ice crew during Monday night's match up between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning was the recipient of an unwanted present.That gift came in the form a a nice wad of spit from Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier.

Bernier appeared to simply be relaxing on the bench when he decided to rid himself of some excess saliva, and after preparing his projectile he fired at the worst possible moment. Right as the spit left Bernier's mouth, a member of the ice crew skated past him and caught, at the very least, a large chunk of the blast.

We're going to give Bernier the benefit of the doubt on this one, the look on his face made it seems like he was just as shocked as anyone else to see it hit someone.
