Goaltenders Announced For Game VS Bruins

Head coach Jeff Blashill has announced his starting goaltender for tonight’s matchup against the Boston Bruins.

#1 goalie Jimmy Howard will get the nod and is expected to play the entire game, and Grand Rapids Griffins net minder Jared Coreau will serve as his backup. The latter has had an impressive preseason thus far, posting a .963 save percentage and allowing only two goals on the 56 shots he faced in two exhibition games.
