Fans were and have been excited ever since the Vegas Golden Knights became an NHL franchise and kicked off the first season of their existence with a trip to the Stanley Cup final. And while they weren’t able to get the championship since their creation in 2017, the Golden Knights have always been in contention since. However, they now appear to be struggling, having lost 6 of their last 8 outings and this despite the debut of Jack Eichel since his trade and neck surgery.

Fans got impatient and fed up on Thursday night as the visiting Boston Bruins got away with the 5-2 win and for the first time in the arena history, T-Mobile hit its lowest point as fans started throwing garbage on the ice.

This is what it looked like:

The Golden Knights have dipped a bit in the Pacific Division standings and need to look at ways of improving their chemistry. This is what team insider Jesse Granger told Frank Seravalli of Daily Face-Off ahead of last night’s game:

“This is probably their worst stretch of the season, other than that early stretch, where everyone was injured. I think, to me, what I’ve been seeing is a team that is very talented even without Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty in the lineup, they have a ton of talent. Obviously, Jack Eichel is out there, the misfit line with Karlsson, Marchessault, and Smith, but they are just not as cohesive and they are playing against some teams like Calgary or Colorado. Those two teams are just as talented as you, but they’ve been running the same lines all season long. They’ve been building chemistry. The team cohesion is so much better than it is in Vegas. So I think you see a team that is playing catch up and trying to build that chemistry.”

And they might also now need to rebuild that chemistry with their fanbase…
