Golden Knights looking to make history

In an emotional home opener, the team has its eyes set on making history.

The Vegas Golden Knights are going to perform in front of their local fans for the first time in the franchise's history, tonight against the Arizona Coyotes, at the T-Mobile Arena. 

The Knights could become the first expansion team to win their first three consecutive contests in a century. At the start of the season, the Vegas team beat the Dallas Stars and the Coyotes on the road. 

The Coyotes are still looking for their first victory of the campaign, so they will be coming in to Vegas with one goal in mind. Netminder Marc Andre Fleury, who was awarded the NHL's second star of the past week. 

It was also be an emotional home open of the Golden Knights, who will honor the victims and heroes of the Vegas shooting massacre with a ceremony and moment of silence.
