The Vegas Golden Knights may only be playing in their 7th NHL season, but they've already established a clear rivalry with the San Jose Sharks, having played each other twice in the playoffs already and seeing plenty of one another during the regular season.
Not surprisingly, the Golden Knights were able to defeat the struggling Sharks this afternoon at SAP Center, winning by a 4-0 final score to hand San Jose their 35th regulation setback of 2023-24. And just like the players go at it with one another on the ice, the administrators who run the X (formerly Twitter) accounts for both franchises traded jabs with one another.
San Jose posted a cartoon congratulatory meme for Sharks fans making it through another year dealing with Vegas fans, and it wouldn't be long before the reigning Stanley Cup champions would hit back.

Both teams are going in opposite directions, but that hasn't stopped the spread of animosity between the two fan bases!
