The Vegas Golden Knights played their third game on Tuesday night after they had three postponed contests due to NHL COVID-19 protocol that included coach Peter DeBoer and defenseman Alex Pietrangelo being away from the team. Vegas had not played since Jan. 26 until returning Friday; Pietrangelo has not played in the latest three games.
However after the Knights defeated the Anaheim Ducks 5-4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, they suddenly announced that they had canceled their postgame media access due to NHL COVID-19 protocol.
No additional details were provided by the team or the NHL. All we know if that both Knights' Tomas Nosek and Shea Theodore missed the entire third period.
To make things worse, the Golden Knights will not practice or have media availabilities Wednesday.
Are you expecting more games to be postponed by the Golden Knights despite them being in action last night?
Something is up… we better keep a close eye on this.
