The 2017-18 season is going to be a season of change for the Vancouver Canucks. With a new coaching staff and a renewed commitment to the future, the team looks prepared to continue its development and hopefully transform themselves into a competitive team in the NHL’s Western Conference. And that starts with a fresh new look.
While the Canucks weren’t expected to make a uniform change for 2017-18, the team released a teaser this morning with the words “Future threads”. Check it out:
So Canucks fans, what do we make of this? Clearly the orca logo is making a return, but is it possible that the team is dropping the word mark from their uniforms? In any case, a return to the “Stick-in-rink” logo or a new Johnny Canuck logo doesn’t seem to be in the near future.
