After two poor outings in Pittsburgh to start the Stanley Cup Final, Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne has turned his game around and re-supplanted himself as a star during games 3 and 4 in Nashville.

Last night, in particular, the big Finn made several incredible saves, but perhaps none were as dramatic as his remarkable diving save on Jake Guentzel’s rebound opportunity from the slot following a Sidney Crosby breakaway. If you were lucky enough to watch the game, you know the save I’m talking about, but chances are you haven’t seen it broadcast in Finnish:

Wow. Go easy there, fellas. You don’t want to have a heart attack!

No matter what language you speak, you have to appreciate the determination and athleticism of Rinne to get back in his net in a move of pure desperation. Awesome stuff here and we look forward to the hearing the Finnish broadcast team when either Rinne or Pittsburgh’s lone Finn Olli Maatta lifts the Cup.
