Gotta See It: Creative Flames fans cap off season in a TRULY unique way

While the 2016-17 season ended far too early for the Calgary Flames and their fans, they’re making the best of it and putting their frustration to good use. Last night, as the Flames said goodbye to the Scotiabank Sadledome for another year, season ticket holders were afforded the opportunity to get creative and paint the ice however they desired. The results have to be seen to believed:


How cool is that? Now, what we’d really love to see is for the Flames play a game or practice on the ice. It might be hard to track the puck at first, but the opportunity to see the game played in such a unique way would certainly be a cool experience. Really though, we’re just happy no one decided to paint a giant broom…
