Well, well, well… it looks like the rumors were true. Earlier this season when it was announced that Adidas would be making uniform changes to several NHL teams for 2017-18, the Minnesota Wild were one of the teams rumored to be making a change. Now, with their latest social media tease, it appears the Wild will in fact revert to wearing green at home.
While the Wild originally wore green at home for much of their history, the team dropped green in favor for it’s alternate red uniform in 2007. It’s also been theorized that the new uniform could be similar in design to the one that they wore at this year’s NHL Stadium Series game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
