This might be a National Hockey League record, and if it's not it's got to be awfully close.

Minnesota Wild forward Mikael Granlund scored one of the more memorable goals of his career on Tuesday night, and not because of some dazzling display of skill, but because of how strange it was.

Despite what the title says, it actually took Granlund a little less than two seconds to score from center ice after the puck was dropped in the third period of the Wild's match up against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Blue Jackets pulled their goalie down a goal, with the draw at center ice, 15.3 seconds remaining in the game, and when the clock stopped at 13.6 the Wild had extended the lead to two.

Check it out.
