Great news for former NHL enforcer and fan favorite Stu Grimson
Feared from his playing days, he’s got a new role now!
HockeyFeed
Former Nashville Predators color analyst and NHL enforcer Stu Grimson is taking his act over to the NHL Network for the upcoming 2017-18 season. The Kamloops, British Columbia native played over 700 career NHL games with the Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, Detroit Red Wings, Hartford Whalers, Los Angeles Kings and, finally, the Nashville Predators.
Grimson was one of the most feared enforcers in the NHL during his career, but fans may be surprised to learn that he’s one of the most insightful color analysts in the sport. Not only is Grimson a retired enforcer, he’s also a retired lawyer, having received his degree from the University of Memphis Law School… the 52-year-old is something of a Renaissance Man.
