Artturi Lehkonen suffered a mysterious injury a few weeks ago. We didn't have more informations about it, except that it was a lower-body injury. But it seems like the Finnish forward is getting healthier every day.

Sportsnet journalist Eric Engels gave us a little more information about Lehkonen and goaltender Al Montoya, who suffered a concussion at the beginning of November. Here's what he had to say:

Forward Artturi Lehkonen (lower body) and goaltender Al Montoya (concussion) have begun to take meaningful steps toward recovery, with the former having skated on his own nearly every day over the past week after missing the team’s last 13 games and the latter having resumed skating at the end of last week after missing 17."

This certainly means he'll be back in the lineup soon enough. This is a very great news for the Canadiens, who lost their last three games.

Lehkonen only took part in 18 games this season. He recorded two goals and three assists for five points.
