In case you missed it last night, the Dallas Stars pushed their consecutive point streak two seven games with an impressive 4-1 victory over the visiting Minnesota Wild.

"Good win," Dallas coach Peter DeBoer said following the victory. "They made it difficult. They're a big, physical team that came in here and I think tried to impose that game on us. And I loved our response. I thought we didn't back down, physically didn't take a step back. I thought we played exactly how you have to play against a team like that."

DeBoer's correct in his assessment of the physicality, that's for sure. In fact, if you haven't watched much of the Stars this season it's sort of what they're becoming known for. They're a big, physical team with at least one guy per forward line who's not afraid to throw the body. They might be the toughest, most physical team in the NHL this season and that's saying something.

Unfortunately though, it doesn't look like the Stars' toughness and physicality translates to their fanbase. At least not in this next example...

Check out this Stars fan get absolutely ROCKED by a hard right hand and then watch him and his girlfriend try to fight back... spoiler, it doesn't end up well for the guy in green.

The moment I saw that guy's haircut I just KNEW that he was going to end up eating shit by the end of the video. You walk around with a bowl cut mullet and you just have to be waiting for someone to knock some sense into you. May as well wear a hat that says, "I make dumb decision, punch me."

In all seriousness, this is a wild scene.

And is it just me or are we seeing more and more scenarios like this each season? It used to be that you'd go years between seeing events like this, but now it seems like there's multiple each season. Maybe it's just the advent of everyone having a camera-phone on them at all times? Maybe it's always been this bad, but now we're just documenting it for all to see?
