Habs fan promises to get a Leafs tattoo if her #BellLetsTalk tweet reaches 200,000 shares

There’s perhaps no better rivalry in hockey history than the one between the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs. The two Original Six teams have a longer history than any other two teams in the NHL and have given hockey fans some of the best moments in hockey history. Chances are if you’re a Habs fan, you hate the Leafs and vice versa. That’s what makes this next story so, so crazy…

In Canada a social initiative from telecommunications corporation Bell called #BellLetsTalk is sweeping social media. Media personalities, NHL players and fans are all joining the cause in raising awareness for mental health in Canada by way of using the hashtag on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. But one Habs fan, Caitlyn Golem, is taking things to the next level.

If Golem’s #BellLetsTalk tweet hits 200,000 retweets, thereby generating $10,000 for mental health initiatives, she'll get a permanent Leafs tattoo somewhere on her body.

Check it out:

I gotta say… that takes guts. Good on you, Caitlyn.

Currently Caitlyn’s retweet total sits just shy of 8,000 so she has a ways to go, but if you have a Twitter account please consider throwing her a RT so that we can all raise some money for a good cause. For every RT of the #BellLetsTalk hashtag, Bell will donate five cents to mental health initiatives.
