Habs forced to leave a player behind for road trip!

Major setback?

Contrary to what was the initial plan, the Montreal Canadiens will be forced to go on their Western road trip without veteran defenseman David Schlemko who was set to play his first game in a Habs jersey.

After a conditionning stint in the AHL, Schlemko was recalled and supposed to join the big team on their way to San Jose but he apparently suffered a setback to his injured hand and it's been announced he will not accompany the team at all and miss the entire week.

More to come.
